Outside Sales
Triangle Fastener Corporation is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team and assume responsibility for growing sales profitability in the Raleigh, NC territory.
This position is ideal for an ambitious individual who will thrive in a fast-paced environment while working in collaboration with our professional, supportive and passionate team! TFC offers excellent medical, dental and vision insurance, company funded short- and long-term disability insurance, life insurance and consistent contribution to the 401k plan.
Compensation for this position will include salary and a monthly performance-based bonus.
This full-time position is eligible for a company vehicle.
Primary Duties and Responsibilitieso Strengthen sales profitability in assigned territory using a proprietary system o Call on existing accounts and prospect for new accountso Develop relationships with key decision makerso Call on roofing, metal building, drywall and acoustical contractors o Develop and implement plans for growth within assigned sales territoryo Attain sales and margin goalsThe Ideal Candidateo Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role required, preferably within the construction industryo Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of industry clients o Ability to influence contractors and manufacturers through knowledge of products and applicationso Ability to establish and develop strong customer relationshipso Ability to solve problems with an openness for new ideaso Ambitious, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spiritThe successful candidate must meet all pre-employment testing requirements including a favorable background screening, drug screening and motor vehicle report.
