Operator III - Silicone (3rd Shift)

Division is currently seeking an Operator III Silicone to join our third shift team.
This position is based at our
Middlesex, NC facility.

  • You will set up, operate and monitor extrusion
    line: Set up equipment according to Silicone Extrusion Checklist; check
    the condition of required tooling; install correct tooling and adjust tooling
    as necessary
  • You will clean up after a run: remove, clean, and
    inspect tooling. If the tooling is in good working condition, return to the
    tooling cabinet. If not, contact Engineering.
  • You will change over: remove excessive silicone
    material (in equipment/on parts) from last run and reinstall cleaned
    parts/tooling
  • You will proof test: Places coil of hose in
    tester, hook up to clamps and pressure test with water to proper specifications.
  • You will work in finishing: Inspect hose to make sure
    that specifications are met. Coils and tag the hose to prepare it
    for shipping. May place in crate or box based on customer
    specifications.
  • You will arane/Hoist Operation: Operators must
    safely operate the crane/hoist to transport poles and product through the
    department.
  • You will produce a quality product, safely, on-time, and
    with the least cost possible.
  • You will review work orders, specifications or instructions
    to determine material, ingredients, procedures, components and settings.
    Accurately record data on process travelers.
  • You will accurately complete computer transactions as
    necessary (labor & scrap transactions, inventory disbursements & cycle
    counts, expense items, etc.)

Qualifications

Required (Basic)
Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or GED from an accredited
    institution
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
    without company sponsorship
  • No relocation is provided for this position, only
    candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Middlesex, NC
    facility will be considered

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
